Leah Suzanne…known to us as Leaher-Sue…or if you can’t add the weird “r” sound at the end, it’s just “Leah-Sue!” We have forced her to be a country girl!
We loooooove her! Anyway, as hard as it is to believe she is actually a COLLEGE SENIOR…she is! And I’m happy & proud & sad all at once! Of course, I was thrilled that she asked me to take her senior portraits…so off I went to UCSD! Go, Mermen!! Errr…I mean…Tritons!!
hehe
We thought it was fitting that we should show where she takes her naps…I mean studies…
Don’t all you college students find places to crash at school?? Where is YOUR place? Hmmmm???
Below is her awesome library…it’s the Dr. Suess library (okay, the Geisel Library…his real name).
Apparently this awesomeness is in the movie Inception…or at least a Geisel Library-inspired structure! And apparently I’m not cool enough to have seen that movie. (Hey, I have 5 kids…I rarely get to watch movies for ME! lol)
Since she’s spent half of her college career here, we felt it fitting to take some fun library photos!
How studious!!
How I love this sweet smile!!
I’m done, I’m done, I’m done…almost…
Apparently, this is the school mascot. A merman…or Triton. Whatever. lol…
If ya didn’t notice…blue & gold are her school colors. Do you think we captured that?
For our last few shots, I forced her to take me to the water…HAD to get some pretty So Cal sunset…this was my favorite of the set…
We finished the day with her treating me to dinner (I rode from my parking space with her & left my purse in my car! She got me! I was intending on treating HER!!). Anyway, it was great fun & cannot wait to see what the Lord has in store for this lovely young lady!! xoxo

I love these! They were well worth the wait. Hugs and prayers for you both.
