Awhile back, I went to shoot my sissy-in-law’s e-sesh in Austin! While we were there, my hubby & I of course got to spend a lot of time with his sisters & the boys! Here are some shots that I took of Texas…the things that I loved! It was beautiful and actually reminded me a lot of Ohio, where I grew up.

Hands-down favorite place to eat in Austin (of the places I tried). Seriously, sooooo good. The butternut squash soup, the blackened mahi-mahi, the Migas, the salad, everything. If you go to Austin, try it! And seriously, how cool is that door?

Ummmm, yeah. We got two doughnuts for the four of us to share & we still couldn’t finish them! They’re HUGE (and of course we had just finished up at South Congress Cafe!). They were amazing! The simpler ones tasted better, btw…

Homemade dinner night! My HUBBY made dinner! It was his first time making pan-fried salmon. It was the BEST salmon I’ve ever had! He found the recipe on YouTube, doctored it up & it was fantastic!!!
The green beans & salmon. Look at that fish! Crispy on the outside, not a bit dry on the inside! It was delectable! Thanks, babe!! Soooo good!

Our last night in Austin was spent at The Salt Lick. The food was pretty good, and the atmosphere was perfect for hanging out & having a good time! Wow, aren’t WE a pair? Of dorks, that is…
