I guess the Lord knew I needed this one this week. I’ve been overwhelmed. Completely overwhelmed with life…the breakneck speed at which things are moving. The unbelievably tight schedule. The homeschooling that I can’t seem to wrangle. The soccer practices. The games. How to fit the Lord in (when ideally I should be fitting all these other things into my walk with the Lord, not the other way around)? I was so encouraged this morning. When I was wasting time on Pinterest…I looked up some verses. I really appreciated the timing of this one…

Amen, Hati! This Rock that is higher than we are is also the Rock who begot us. He is our heavenly Father and as such knows us and knows how to bring us back to Himself! It’s so good to find Him in all of our intermixed and complicated situations! What assurance we have — such a Rock lives in us!
